TAHARRUK Patient-Protect™ is a patient-safety application developed by TAHARRUK Global Health Ltd (TGH).
We respect your privacy and are committed to explaining clearly what information the application handles and how it is used.
1. Information you enter
TAHARRUK Patient-Protect™ allows you to record information relating to your healthcare safety concerns, including:
- observations or concerns;
- dates and times;
- where an event or concern occurred;
- who you informed;
- the response you received;
- whether the concern is still present;
- what is concerning you; and
- what action or response you are requesting.
2. Where your information is stored
Information you enter into Patient-Protect™ is designed to be stored locally on your device.
TAHARRUK Patient-Protect™ does not require a TAHARRUK user account and does not operate a TAHARRUK cloud database for these records.
TAHARRUK does not intentionally transmit your Patient-Protect™ records to its own servers.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device.
If you delete the application, clear its local data, or lose access to your device, locally stored information may be lost.
3. No advertising or tracking
Patient-Protect™ is not designed to use your health information for advertising.
TAHARRUK Patient-Protect™ does not intentionally use advertising trackers, behavioural tracking, or analytics to monitor your use of the application.
4. Fonts and technical services
The application may use Google Fonts to provide its visual typography.
When fonts are requested from an external font service, technical information such as your device’s IP address may be processed by that service as part of delivering the font.
TAHARRUK does not send your Patient-Protect™ records or healthcare concerns to Google Fonts.
5. Optional microphone and voice input
Patient-Protect™ may provide optional microphone or voice-input functionality to make entering information easier.
Microphone access is only requested when you choose to use a voice-input feature.
Depending on your device, browser, operating system, and speech-recognition technology, audio or speech information may be processed by the relevant device or technology provider.
TAHARRUK does not intentionally collect or store your voice recordings on its own servers.
You should review the privacy information provided by your device, browser, or speech-recognition provider where applicable.
6. Emergency calls
Patient-Protect™ may provide emergency contact information and links or buttons that allow you to contact emergency services.
Using an emergency call connects you to the relevant emergency service or telephone system. TAHARRUK Global Health is not an emergency service.
In an emergency, contact the appropriate emergency service directly.
7. Health and sensitive information
Patient-Protect™ is designed to help users organise and communicate patient-safety concerns.
You should avoid entering unnecessary personal information about yourself or another person.
Do not enter passwords, financial information, identification numbers, or other information that is not necessary for your safety record.
8. Children
Patient-Protect™ is not specifically directed at children.
Parents or guardians should supervise the use of the application by children where appropriate.
9. Your responsibility
Patient-Protect™ is a safety and communication tool.
It does not provide a diagnosis, replace professional medical advice, replace emergency services, or determine whether a healthcare professional or organisation has been negligent.
Information recorded in the application should not be used as a substitute for appropriate clinical assessment.
10. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the application, its services, or applicable legal requirements change.
The latest version will be published on this webpage.
